Off-Peak trains run during less busy travel periods, usually outside the weekday morning and evening rush hours. Travelling Off-Peak is often quieter and tickets are typically cheaper than Peak fares.
Off-Peak times vary by route and train company, but as a general guide:
Weekdays (Monday–Friday): usually from 09:30 to 16:00, and after 19:00
Transport for London (TfL) services: before 06:30, from 09:30 to 16:00, and after 19:00
Super Off-Peak trains run at the quietest times and usually offer the best-value fares:
Weekdays: roughly 10:00–15:30 and after 19:15
Weekends and bank holidays: all day
