What is Trainline Business?

Trainline Business is the best of Trainline – one of the world’s leading rail and bus platforms – with plenty of business-friendly features on top. It gives millions of employees a consumer-style booking experience, with visibility of their travel spend, cost efficiencies and controls.

We sell tickets run by 270 carriers in 45 countries, spanning 80% of all routes in Europe. We’re the trusted travel companion that will take you to destinations right across the continent.

What travel management features and services will I get?

We make it easy to stick to your travel budget: get individual invoices sent automatically to your inbox, PDFs as proof of payments, and download your entire booking history.

E-tickets can be added to your phone’s wallet or found in our app. We’ll also send you a calendar invite for your upcoming trips.

How do I register and log in?

Click the buttons at the top of this page. Once your company has registered, employees can create their own Trainline Business logins and link up with their company’s account. Just make sure to use your work email, rather than personal one.

We’ve built our platform to be entirely self-serve. You’ll be able to add colleagues to your account and start reaping all the benefits straight away.

How much does it cost to use Trainline Business?

It’s completely free to have an account with us. And there’s no minimum contract length – simply use our platform for all your business travel needs as often as you like. 

Can I exchange a ticket or get a refund?

Meetings and work trips can easily overrun, so we aim to give you the flexibility to swap your tickets or apply for a refund when it's applicable. 

It depends on your carrier’s policy, of course,so have a read of our terms and conditions to find out more.  

What payment methods are accepted?

Our platform supports a wide range of payment methods. This includes paying on card and using a business card for group bookings – music to the ears of staff who’ll no longer have to pay for journeys upfront and expense them later.

Soon we’ll be bringing on board PayPal and Apple Pay, so stay tuned for updates.

What companies does Trainline Business have partnerships with?

We’re pleased to count American Express (Amex), SAP Concur and Mooncard as our partners.

Are there any money-saving offers?

In February 2023 we launched a promotion exclusively for Mooncard customers, giving them €20 off each of their first three bookings after signing up to Trainline Business, up to a total saving of €60 for their company.
